Value Stream Mapping

Value stream mapping is a critical tool for lean improvements. Value stream maps provide users with an understanding of the material and information flows in their processes. They also help you to identify where lean techniques can be implemented to optimize process effectiveness and efficiency. This activity-based workshop will provide participants with the knowledge to understand the common conventions used to create value stream maps. Participants will learn to create current-state maps, analyze them to identify waste, and to prepare future-state maps detailing improved processes.
